Living and Loving chapter 2Chapter 2:Living and Loving chapter 2
Back at the office, Tom was finishing up restoring the files from the old server. He moved all of the mail, accounts, databases, and settings to the new hard drives, and then left the room. She elbowed her mouse to wake the machine, and, in a few minutes, it showed a connection. She connected to the new server and checked to see if all of her files were there. "I've backed up everything to the new drive rack," Tom said. "I've also set the two pairs of cases to mirror each other, so tha

Thomas M. Skunk, a young, aspiring computer network engineer and programmer, lay face down on the bed in his one-bedroom apartment. The alarm clock on his night stand read 6:29 AM, but not for long. At six-thirty, the alarm went off, rousing its owner from a lightly troubled sleep. He reached over instinctively, groped for the clock, and tried to hit the snooze bar. My Piano| I'm not much of an artist. Mostly, I just signed up to keep track of and talk to my friends. I may upload some pictures though. If you would like to use one or more of my characters in your artwork, let me know. If you don't want to talk to me, make sure you at least give me credit for the character(s). If I find that you've been using my characters without permission or giving credit to me, well, we'll have to talk. I will more than likely say yes if you simply talk to me and/or give me credit for the character(s). That's all there is to it! |
